Nanography™ for Mainstream Commercial Production
Nanography™ offers unprecedented dot sharpness and color uniformity compared to digital analog technologies (note: images are actual microscopic photographs).
Landa S10c interactive view
Landa S10C Nanographic Printing™ Presses use standard B1 (41 in./1050 mm) format substrates and off-the-shelf media – without any pretreatment or priming. They also offer throughput at up to five times that of digital presses. Installed next to your offset equipment, you need no special clean room environments. Offset operators will require simple training and will quickly adapt to its intuitive feel.
Fitting seamlessly into any production environment – full offset and hybrid offset/digital -- the unique Landa digital front end (DFE) optimizes print quality and assures high scalability. The Landa DFE also assures frictionless communication between prepress and print operations -- connecting to leading workflow solutions, as well as web-to-print and MIS systems.
The Landa Nanographic Printing™ Process delivers true offset quality. Using the microscopically small Landa NanoInk™ pigments, the press achieves a light dynamic range that is wider than any other process. It even addresses more Pantone® colors than offset printing.
ANOTHER LOOK AT THE LANDA S10C
Nanography™ and Landa NanoInk™ produce solid areas with incomparable lightness depth value. Unique Landa ink ejectors offer astounding 1200 dpi resolution – assuring extensive coverage, multiple levels of gray, and extraordinary color definition. The process yields consistent offset-quality images -- vivid, sharp, and uniform.
With the optional inline coating unit, you can augment output while supporting a variety of coating materials, including flood or selective coating. The unit supports all coating materials, aqueous as well as UV.
A built-in spectrophotometer offers calibration that defines a baseline, maintains color consistency, and assures print uniformity. The automated inspection system verifies print registration, checks nozzles, identifies artifacts, and confirms barcodes as well as QR codes.
A Breakthrough in User Experience
Operators will welcome the unique cockpit environment, which puts them in a centralized command station. Ergonomically designed, the cockpit offers the operator fast, easy access to all major functions: checking press status; monitoring the feeder; inspecting output; and viewing real-time "inside the press" video feeds.
With a dedicated tablet in hand, operators can move away from the cockpit area while monitoring all data and checking on maintenance or troubleshooting needs. The paper handling system automates most of the hands-on tasks that typify traditional substrate systems.
Maximizing uptime even further is novel technology for automated paper adjustment. It allows quicker substrate changeovers and longer runs without downtime. With a supplementary, automated delivery tray, operators can collect and inspect proofs while maintaining output integrity.
The Lowest TCO for Digital Print Production
A four-color (CMYK) system uses low-cost, water-based inks to create maximum coverage and brilliant images. It also has the capability to expand into seven-color (CMYK+OVG) output. The Landa 7-color system practically eliminates the need for spot colors, the time spent on creating and mixing colors and the on-press color switching. By eliminating plates and make-ready, the unique Landa Nanographic Printing™ Process generates little waste and greatly improves operational efficiency.
