Louis Gordon, Marcom Manager, Landa Digital Printing
Industry veteran Gerry Mulvaney has joined the Landa Team at drupa. A man of many talents, he writes regularly for Graphic Display World and is blogging his experience with Landa.
In his first report from drupa 2012 features a huge photo of him smiling next to the Landa S10 Nanographic Printing Press. He writes:
If you want to know why I am smiling it is because I am having a whale of a time here on the Landa stand at Drupa.
After incurring the wrath of my wife for cancelling a holiday and postponing my retirement yet again to be part of the Benny Landa show at Drupa, the pleasure of introducing the world’s print service providers to Nanography is indescribable. I have lost count of the number of times that the big smile spreads across their face when they finally understand that this is large format high speed digital offset. When they see the ROI compared to conventional offset they burst out laughing and shake their heads in disbelief!
He describes how the press operators who have seen the Nano machines are simply blown away by the Landa Touchscreen and thinks that Landa has made printing “cool again”:
If you wanted a way to get kids interested in Print as a career, ten minutes in front of this control panel will have them queuing for a college place.
Regarding the show “Nano. Bigger than you think.”, Gerry writes:
Benny’s presentation is fantastic. The master has not lost his touch. Five shows a day, every day by him packs the theatre. We have got people queuing just to get tickets, let alone to get into the show
