We are expanding our facilities in Rehovot to meet our growing customer base and high customer demands. We, the Nano News editors (NN), interviewed Naama Konor Gal and Tomer Goral, our Systems Plant and Consumables Plant managers about the expansion, and how it will benefit Landa customers.
NN: Soon, you will inaugurate your new premises at Landa Digital Printing. What are the main reasons for the expansion?
NKG: Landa Digital Printing has expanded significantly over the last four years and we are planning for even more rapid growth in press installations and print volume.
As a result, we are excited to be expanding our production facilities. We have a fantastic team leading this expansion who together have decades of experience and knowledge in production management. The team has been overseeing the construction of over 4,000 m2/over 40,000 ft2, which will be ready in just a few weeks.
NN: What are your roles in the project, and what has the process been like?
TG: Last year we started the planning with a goal from management to plan stages of construction to accommodate Landa Digital Printing’s strategic growth plan. Together with an external construction coordinator and an internal project leader, we have made sure that the functions and spaces which we have planned are in line with our commitment to operational excellence and quality manufacturing. We are constantly challenging ourselves to reach higher production efficiency and our new premises will increase our capacity, which is great!
NN: What will the expansion of the production facility mean for LDP customers?
NKG: Our expansion enables us to grow our customer base. We will continue to focus on quality and improve our efficiencies. Our goal is to grow and expand our business to meet the ever-increasing demands of the market for the versatile capabilities of digital print.
