"At Drupa 2016 we are unveiling a new nanotechnology for producing metallized graphics"
Unveiling the Landa Nano-Metallography™ process
Tens of thousands of visitors saw the unveiling of the new Landa Nano-Metallography™ technology at the Landa booth where thousands of meters of beautifully metallized full color labels were produced with no foil and no waste!
Around the booth were an impressive array of finished products – including wine and beer bottles, and folding cartons for cosmetics and microwaveable food, showing the diverse capabilities of the Nano-Metallography® process.
THE DRUPA EXPERIENCE
We would like to convey our personal thanks to everyone who visited the Landa booth at Drupa and gave us feedback on our Nano-Metallography® technology. We were excited about this new product launch before Drupa but the thrill of discussing the opportunity with friends across the industry at Drupa is unparalleled.
The Landa Nano-Metallography™ L50 module worked flawlessly throughout the show mounted on an 8 color flexo press. With dozens of scheduled and unscheduled demos metallizing full color labels we demonstrated our capability to metallize everything from fine details to full coverage. Around the booth we displayed a full range of samples showing silver and gold Landa Nano-Flake™ metal, overprinting, and flat and embossed metallic effects.
We exhibited the Landa Nano-Metallography™ process as a technology demonstration to get feedback from customers.
We held conversations with thousands of printers from 97 different countries and from all print segments including labels, folding carton, flexible packaging, and commercial, and also met with international consumer goods companies and potential partners.
The input that we received was invaluable, clearly confirming the market pull for a new zero waste metallization solution with half the cost of foil.
We are working hard in the labs and are finalizing plans for the product roll-out.
We will make announcements in the coming months regarding the launch date for our different modules, and will keep you updated via this site.
