Nanography®
Nanotechnology for Printing
Overview
Nanography® is the science behind Landa’s revolutionary digital printing technology. Also known as the Nanographic Printing® process, it combines the performance of offset with the versatility of digital printing. Nanography® is game-changing technology for the mainstream commercial, folding carton, packaging, and publishing markets that will enable the profitable production of short to medium run lengths. Landa Nanographic Printing® Presses print at high speeds using a four-color (CMYK) or a seven-color system palette. They support sheet formats spanning B1 (41 in. / 1,050 mm), B2 (29 in. / 750 mm) and B3 (20 in. / 520 mm) and web formats ranging from 22 in. (560 mm) to 40 in. (1,020 mm). Landa NanoInk® colorants, the process’ special inks,
were developed using nanotechnology and are water-based and eco-friendly.

Landa NanoInk®
Landa NanoInk® colorants comprise nano-pigments that are extremely powerful absorbers of light and enable unprecedented image qualities.

Nanographic Printing®
With Landa NanoInk® colorants at its heart, Nanographic Printing® technology is an entirely new category of printing: digital for mainstream.

WHY IT'S better
Dots produced using the Nanographic Printing® process are only 500 nanometers thick, about half the thickness of offset images. This highly efficient use of ink enables Landa to produce the lowest cost-per-page digital images.

Prints on Anything
Nanography® lets you use any off-the-shelf untreated media for commercial, packaging and publishing production with no need for post-drying.
