Düsseldorf, Germany (Drupa 2016), June 3, 2016 – Kodak and Landa Digital Printing have announced strategic collaboration to provide a digital workflow that drives Nanographic Printing® presses for mainstream commercial applications. The integration enables the industry-leading KODAK PRINERGY Workflow’s digital press management system to automate the workflow for Landa's ultra-high-speed Nanographic Printing® presses in the production of mainstream commercial printing applications.
PRINERGY Workflow’s digital press management using the Workshop experience enables an advanced level of control of Landa’s Nanographic Printing presses. Production decisions can now be based on real-time metrics and changes can be centralized with the powerful Digital Job Ticket Editor.
These new workflow and editing capabilities provide complete control over all the JDF parameters understood by the press and can be automated through PRINERGY Rules-Based Automation. What’s more, a new remote console will facilitate load-balancing, monitoring and reporting of the status of multiple presses in the same facility.
A cloud-based sheet optimization and ganging feature will also be demonstrated that will allow Landa’s commercial printing, publishing and packaging customers to more quickly and accurately layout jobs for web orders. The integrated capabilities of KODAK PRINERGY Workflow is on display at drupa in Landa’s booth in Hall 9.
