The Landa S10 Nanographic Printing™ Press delivers mainstream productivity using large format B1 (41 in./1,050 mm) size media comprised of off-the-shelf substrates – without any pretreatment or priming. With throughput up to five times that of digital presses, it frees up your offset equipment to do what it does best – long-run production.
Nanographic Printing presses work side by side with your offset/analog equipment – no special clean room environment is required. The press requires minimal training for offset operators and offers a 21st century, intuitive feel.
A unique Landa Digital Front End (DFE) fits naturally into any environment – full offset, digital-only and hybrid offset/digital. Using the industry recognized EFI Fiery® technology as a platform, Landa DFE brings print quality and performance to new heights. It is tightly integrated with the Landa press software to ensure frictionless communication between prepress and print operations. The Landa DFE also connects to the leading production workflow solutions and upstream applications such as web-to-print and MIS systems.
The Landa DFE is highly scalable and drives both sheetfed and webfed Landa Nanographic Printing™ Presses. It also has closed-loop integration with the inspection system to ensure print quality.

The Landa Nanographic Printing™ Process offers offset quality printing. Using the extremely small Landa NanoInk™ pigments, the light dynamic range achieved by the Nanographic Printing process is wider than any other process and covers more Pantone® colors than offset printing.
ANOTHER LOOK AT THE LANDA S10
The Landa Nanography™ process and Landa NanoInk™ Colorants create printed solid areas with lightness depth (density) values incomparable to any other printing process. High-resolution ink ejectors offer 1,200 dpi resolution – delivering high coverage, multiple gray levels, and exceptional color definition. Images appear vivid, sharp, and uniform – similar to anything produced by an offset press.
An optional inline coating unit enhances printed output while supporting a range of coating materials; flood or selective coating. It supports all types of coating materials including both aqueous and UV.
The press is equipped with a spectrophotometer for calibration to define a baseline and maintain color consistency and print uniformity. An inspection system automatically verifies registration, checks nozzle conditions, detects artifacts and validates barcodes and QR codes.
An Unprecedented User Experience
Applying the principles of user ergonomics, the unique Landa Operator Cockpit places operators within a central “command” position. It offers at-a-glance access to all functions, allowing the operator to quickly view the press status; monitor the feeder; inspect output; and view real-time video feeds of printing inside the press.
In addition, a tablet device lets the operator monitor vital signs and assists with maintenance or troubleshooting while away from the cockpit. An automatic paper handling system eliminates many of the labor-intensive tasks common to traditional media setup.
A fully automated paper adjustment system enables fast changeovers to new substrates and long runs without stopping, further maximizing uptime. An auxiliary delivery tray lets operators automatically collect and inspect proofs without affecting the integrity of the output.

By significantly reducing operating costs compared to other digital printing solutions, the Landa S10 Nanographic Printing™ Press offers the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Like analog solutions based on lithography or gravure, the Landa S10 Press supports all off-the-shelf paper and folding carton substrates, coated and uncoated – without any pretreatment or priming.
This innovative press creates high coverage images with a four-color (CMYK) system, using low-cost, water-based ink with the ability to extend it to a seven-color (CMYK+OVG) system. The Landa 7-color system practically eliminates the need for spot colors, the time spent on creating and mixing colors and the on-press color switching. The Nanographic Printing™ process also yields minimal waste, eliminating the need for plates or make-ready.
