Pioneer of digital printing at Indigo (acquired by HP in 2002), now at Landa, Benny continues his visionary pathway – pioneering futuristic nanotechnology applications in the fields of imaging, energy and health. His vision for the future also includes investment in promising Israeli technologies, and philanthropic activities that enable underprivileged youth to gain access to higher education. Benny has a portfolio of over 800 patents worldwide and is the printing industry's and Israel's most prolific inventor. Recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the imaging industry's prestigious Edwin H. Land medal, he has also been awarded numerous lifetime achievement awards and honorary doctorates.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the digital print industry, Yishai is a strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive innovation and execution. Before coming to Landa, Yishai held senior positions at Hewlett-Packard, most recently serving as Vice President and General Manager, Graphics Solutions Business at HP Americas. Previously he served as HP Vice President and General Manager, Indigo & Inkjet Solutions Business Americas, and Director, Worldwide Strategic Marketing, HP-Indigo. Yishai began his career in the digital print industry at Indigo, where he served in various positions including VP, Photo Business and Director, Product Marketing.
Ronen has extensive experience in the analog and digital printing industries, including over 20 years’ experience in product development and operations. During his employment with Kodak, Nur Macroprinters and HP, Ronen’s focus and achievements included the successful development of a variety of inkjet products and technologies. Prior to joining Landa, Ronen served as R&D Director at HP Scitex, responsible for the design and development of industrial digital presses and solutions, driving the creation of the product strategy and managing the company’s vintage chart. Ronen holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from Ben Gurion University.
Andreas began his career in Corporate Finance/M&A in the Telecoms/IT industry. After taking up various other M&A-related roles including heading up the M&A department of Deutsche Post/DHL, he joined ALTANA AG where for ten years he played a key role in the Executive Management team, responsible for Corporate Strategy, M&A and Corporate Venturing. During his tenure at ALTANA he led the negotiations for the investment in Landa Digital Printing while also serving as an LDP board member. Andreas holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Munster.
Nir has over 21 years of experience in product development, product management and product marketing. He began his career in the graphic arts industry as R&D engineer for computer-to-plate systems at Creo (now Kodak). At Kodak he managed the development of an innovative plate making system for packaging and branched out from R&D to global product marketing of packaging products. Nir holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MBA from the Technion in Israel.
Yaacov is a digital print industry veteran with more than 35 years’ experience at Indigo and Hewlett-Packard where he held a variety of senior positions in R&D and Operations, including HP Indigo Supplies & System Manufacturing Director and HP Indigo Engineering Director. While at Indigo, he led the development of advanced technological products, created the engineering infrastructure, and established factories that used advanced production management methods such as TPM, Sigma 6 and Lean.
Gilad brings to Landa a combination of skills and experience spanning high-level technical and worldwide strategic-customer support, R&D and a proven track record in team leadership. In the course of his career of over 20 years at HP Indigo, he successfully managed innovative projects from design through system engineering, technology development, assimilation and strategic planning. He worked directly with strategic global customers to achieve rapid growth in customer activity and purchasing volumes, and introduced major systems into the marketplace resulting in increased annual sales of over $200M. Gilad heads up the product management team and vertical market activity.
Yael started her journey in the printing industry more than 15 years ago. She served in several positions at HP Indigo, managing large teams in the operations unit. Before coming to Landa Digital Printing, Yael worked in the USA where she managed the sales operations team for HP Indigo & Inkjet Solutions Businesses Americas. Yael holds a BSc. in Industrial Engineering and Management and an MBA, both of them from the Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
As Corporate VP and General Counsel, Dan is responsible for the Landa's legal and IP matters. He has extensive experience in complex merger and acquisition transactions, franchising, international transactions, corporate structuring, employee incentive plans and corporate financing. He has participated in numerous venture capital funding transactions, and serves as legal counsel for many start-up companies. He is a founding partner of Lapidot, Melchior, Abramovich & Co., a boutique law firm specializing in the fields of high tech companies, IP licensing, antitrust and environmental matters. Dan holds both LLB and LLM degrees from the University of Jerusalem.
Matthew brings to Landa broad experience in business development and strategy. He joined Landa Digital Printing from Landa Labs, where he led the incubation of a new metallization technology which was acquired by Actega in February 2017. Prior to Landa, Matthew worked at HP Indigo for ten years in a variety of roles including managing the division’s Strategic Planning team, managing the Worldwide Segment team, and heading Supplies and Business Development in the Middle East, Africa, and Central and Eastern Europe with a focus on increasing growth in emerging markets and channel management. Before Indigo, Matthew spent three years as a strategy consultant working with many of Israel’s top companies and two years consulting to technology start-ups. Matthew holds a BA in Philosophy from the UK and an MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Nachum comes to Landa with a very successful track record in the digital printing industry, both in North America and Europe. For the last twenty years, he has held a variety of senior management positions at Scitex, Nur Macroprinters and Hewlett-Packard. Nachum served with Nur Macroprinters Europe and then Nur Macroprinters Americas where he held the position of President for a period of eight years. He later joined HP, first as Director of Large Format Industrial Printers EMEA and then as Director of Labels and Packaging at HP Indigo EMEA.
Europe, Middle East & Africa
Marc has a successful track record for building sales organizations at digital print businesses. During the past eight years Marc has held a variety of senior management positions at HP, from President of Scitex Vision, Vice President and General Manager, HP Indigo and InkJet Press Solutions, EMEA, to his most recent role as EMEA VP of GTM - (go to market) Business Development Graphics, Marc held senior sales positions with Agfa, Esko, Xeikon and Xerox.
Asia Pacific & Japan
Michael brings to Landa 35 years of experience in the printing industry. Beginning his career as a chemist formulating printing inks, in the past 20 years he has been directly involved in establishing digital printing in China, Japan, SEA and Oceania. Among Michael’s most notable achievements are the founding of the first company to import and install the Indigo digital presses in Australia, management of the HP digital press operation in Japan and installation of the first production high-speed wide web inkjet publishing system in China.
