Pioneer of digital printing at Indigo (acquired by HP in 2002), now at Landa, Benny continues his visionary pathway – pioneering futuristic nanotechnology applications in the fields of imaging, energy and health. His vision for the future also includes investment in promising Israeli technologies, and philanthropic activities that enable underprivileged youth to gain access to higher education. Benny has a portfolio of over 800 patents worldwide and is the printing industry's and Israel's most prolific inventor. Recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the imaging industry's prestigious Edwin H. Land medal, he has also been awarded numerous lifetime achievement awards and honorary doctorates.
Asher Levy joined LDP after a successful career at Orbotech where he held various managerial positions from 1990 until he was named Chief Executive Officer in 2013, a position he held for six years until 2019. Under his leadership, Orbotech’s revenue trebled to over $1 billion and the company was sold to KLA for approximately $3.4 billion. Asher holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management from Ben-Gurion University, and a master's degree in business administration from Tel Aviv University. He is a graduate of the advanced management program at Harvard Business School.
Gil brings to the role of CEO in-depth technological knowledge, business and organizational skills, a wealth of managerial experience and a proven track record in leadership. His achievements span heading up a global $1 billion hi-tech company, leading multi-disciplinary business units, andmanaging complex product development projects within a variety of organizational functions including R&D, business, sales, marketing, customer service and more. Over the course of his career he has fulfilled several senior positions at Orbotech, most recently serving as President of the company. He holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Jerusalem College of Technology, and an MBA with a focus on Marketing and IT from Bar-Ilan University.
Eran brings to Landa Digital Printing over 20 years of financial and managerial experience in high growth and complex, global, publicly traded organizations. Starting his career as an accountant at BDO and then serving for eight years as Finance Director and CFO at Vigilant Technology where he led the company to a successful IPO in 2005, Eran’s most recent role was 11 years as CFO of the Telit group, a global leader in the enablement of the Internet of Things (IoT). Eran is a certified Public Accountant and holds an LL.M. from Bar Ilan University and a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Ben Gurion University where he graduated with distinction.
Ronen has extensive experience in the analog and digital printing industries, including over 20 years’ experience in product development and operations. During his employment with Kodak, Nur Macroprinters and HP, Ronen’s focus and achievements included the successful development of a variety of inkjet products and technologies. Prior to joining Landa, Ronen served as R&D Director at HP Scitex, responsible for the design and development of industrial digital presses and solutions, driving the creation of the product strategy and managing the company’s vintage chart. Ronen holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from Ben Gurion University.
As VP Business Operations at Landa, Boaz heads up services, IT and information systems, knowledge management, business operations and facilities. He comes to Landa with a track record as a business executive and leader with around 30 years’ experience in the digital printing industry. Throughout his career Boaz held multiple senior positions at Scitex Corporation, Scitex Vision and HP at regional and corporate levels. In recent years, he served as Executive VP and COO at Scitex and General Manager of HP Scitex. Prior to joining Landa Boaz served as VP Service and Solutions at Orbotech. He holds a BSC in Mechanical Engineering and an Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Yaacov is a digital print industry veteran with more than 35 years’ experience at Indigo and Hewlett-Packard where he held a variety of senior positions in R&D and Operations, including HP Indigo Supplies & System Manufacturing Director and HP Indigo Engineering Director. While at Indigo, he led the development of advanced technological products, created the engineering infrastructure, and established factories that used advanced production management methods such as TPM, Sigma 6 and Lean.
Yael started her journey in the printing industry more than 15 years ago. She served in several positions at HP Indigo, managing large teams in the operations unit. Before coming to Landa Digital Printing, Yael worked in the USA where she managed the sales operations team for HP Indigo & Inkjet Solutions Businesses Americas. Yael holds a BSc. in Industrial Engineering and Management and an MBA, both of them from the Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
VP Global Business
With a proven track record in the development of new market segments, product positioning and implementation of innovation-driving strategies, and with his success at increasing profitability and driving organizational transformations, Sharon brings to Landa Digital Printing extensive domestic and international management experience in growth organizations, corporates and startups. Over the course of his career, Sharon has held positions at well-known tech companies including Elbit Systems, 3M, Amiad USA, and most recently at Orbotech where he served as President of the Americas & EMEA. Sharon attended Harvard Business School’s Senior Executives Leadership Program and holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Products and Strategic Partners
Nir has over 21 years of experience in product development, product management and product marketing. He began his career in the graphic arts industry as R&D engineer for computer-to-plate systems at Creo (now Kodak). At Kodak he managed the development of an innovative plate making system for packaging and branched out from R&D to global product marketing of packaging products. Nir holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MBA from the Technion in Israel.
As Corporate VP and General Counsel, Dan is responsible for the Landa's legal and IP matters. He has extensive experience in complex merger and acquisition transactions, franchising, international transactions, corporate structuring, employee incentive plans and corporate financing. He has participated in numerous venture capital funding transactions, and serves as legal counsel for many start-up companies. He is a founding partner of Lapidot, Melchior, Abramovich & Co., a boutique law firm specializing in the fields of high tech companies, IP licensing, antitrust and environmental matters. Dan holds both LLB and LLM degrees from the University of Jerusalem.
Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA)
Manuel joined Landa Digital Printing in 2016 with an extensive history in the printing industry. Growing up in a family of global label & packaging printers and equipment suppliers, he accumulated in-depth experience across the board. Before joining LDP, Manuel held managerial roles in well-known companies including Sun Chemical and Römer Etikett. Most recently he worked at HP Indigo for eight years, first as Business Manager DACH and then Business Manager EMEA. Manuel holds university degrees in business administration, and marketing and management.
Asia Pacific & Japan
Michael brings to Landa 35 years of experience in the printing industry. Beginning his career as a chemist formulating printing inks, in the past 20 years he has been directly involved in establishing digital printing in China, Japan, SEA and Oceania. Among Michael’s most notable achievements are the founding of the first company to import and install the Indigo digital presses in Australia, management of the HP digital press operation in Japan and installation of the first production high-speed wide web inkjet publishing system in China.
